Martin Luther King Class at the Farm
This week Churchward students from Luther King Class went to the farm to help with preparations for Autumn and Winter by pruning back some of the plants in the poly tunnel.
Luther King students then dissected a pumpkin and collected the seeds. The students learnt about planting and drying of the seeds and the way seeds are moved in nature by animals.
Students then learnt about decomposition. All the students enjoyed the farm activities although all agreed the smell of a rotting pumpkin was not pleasant.
