World Book Day 2025

The spirit of World Book Day was alive and vibrant this year, creating an electric atmosphere throughout the school. The staff truly outdid themselves with their colourful costumes, representing a variety of beloved book characters.

We had The Three Little Pigs causing chaos in the science lab, The Borrowers cleverly hiding around the school, Alice in Wonderland exploring the corridors, and the lively emotions from Inside Out bringing flair and charisma. Elmer the elephant even made an appearance, humorously missing their trunk in the maths classroom, along with many other fantastic characters from the world of Literature.

At Churchward School, World Book Day is a vital part of our literacy-rich environment, opening students' minds to the world of books, nurturing their imaginations, and inspiring wonder.
