In English, the children have been learning how to write an essay which has been challenging but at the same time they have all managed to produce some great work with a wide range of vocabulary. In Maths, we are working on fractions and for some children in the class we use visual equipment which really helps them understand fractions in a less confusing way.

In PE we have been learning about different skills used with the football, the students really enjoyed playing a game at the end and the TAs got involved with some great skills used.

Being kind and looking out for others is something we very much value in Hawking class and this week Jaydan was the student that recognised something was not right with a fellow student and was able to make this student feel in a much better place.
