A fantastic term for Bridges
Term 1 has been an amazing term in so many ways and especially so in the Bridges Provision, and I am incredibly proud of all the staff and students who have worked together to make it a success!
We have seen students return from a long holiday and transition into their schooling again, interacting with their peers and staff both on and off site!
We have students making progress in every aspect of their learning and some who are already transitioning to complete qualifications on the Tadpole Site and begin their GCSE studies.
We have been out and about in our local community developing independence and communication skills. Our students have engaged in a range of physical activities from walking, swimming, trampolining, Zumba and visits to the gymnasium.
We have seen students access provision outside of school and open up and prepare a shop ready to begin to sell their own designs in clothing and artwork.
Most importantly we have supported one another, been kind and shown resilience in the face of challenges and this togetherness has enabled everyone to have a positive and successful start to this year at school.
